  • Introduction

    Polypropylene fiber, also known as engineering fiber, concrete fiber, crack-resistant fiber, anti-crack fiber or synthetic fiber, plastic fiber, etc., is a high-strength bundled fiber made of unique production technology using polypropylene as the main raw material. When added to concrete or mortar, it effectively controls micro-cracks caused by factors such as plastic shrinkage, dry shrinkage, and temperature changes of the concrete (mortar), preventing and inhibiting the formation and development of cracks. It greatly improves the crack-resistant and impermeable performance, impact resistance, and earthquake resistance of the concrete. It can be widely used in the following scenarios: the surface layer of bridges and roads (including highways and airport runways), various applications in mining and tunnel engineering, railways, high-rise buildings, slope stabilization, fire facilities, concrete repairs, waterproof engineering of industrial and civil architecture such as roof, walls, basements, pools and rooftop gardens, crack-resistant mortar for heat preservation, various forced concrete products, etc.

    Main functions

    As a secondary reinforcing material for concrete, polypropylene fiber can greatly improve its crack resistance, impermeability, impact resistance, earthquake resistance, frost resistance, erosion resistance, explosion resistance, aging resistance, workability, pumpability, and water retention. It can prevent the generation of concrete cracks, improve the impermeability of concrete, improve the solubility resistance of concrete, enhance the impact resistance, bending resistance, fatigue resistance and earthquake resistance of concrete, improve the durability and aging resistance of concrete, and enhance the fire resistance of concrete.

    Suggested Dosage

    For mortar, it is suggested to add 2KG of polypropylene fiber per cubic meter of mortar.

    For concrete, it is suggested to add 2-3KG of polypropylene fiber per cubic meter of concrete.

    Specifications and Packaging of Polypropylene Fiber:

    Basic Specification: 3-60MM

    Basic Packaging: 1.0KG per bag, packaged in a thin film;

    Outer packaging is packaged in a woven bag.
